Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:46PM Tonight I wanted to practice doing a neutral eye on myself. Why? Because I just never wear them and when I do I end up wearing a neutral eye I end up doing something that changes the "neutrality" of it all. I was doing really well until it got to the part where I put some lipstick on. Here's what I had to choose from:-
I've got an decent personal lipstick collection with a good variety of colour. I could have chosen any colour. Any! But I chose this one:-
Now y'all have seen this colour before. It's that stupid Sleek Amethyst lipstick! For all the jones in my bones! Can someone explain to me why I chose it again? What is it with this lipstick? Why couldn't I just reach for something neutral considering the fact that I was actually practicing a neutral look?
I've known for a long time that it's my favorite lipstick. I've not posted FOTD's before on my blog because I've been wearing it and you guys might think I'm boring! [yes I care what you think about my lipstick!] But I love it!!!! But I wanna challenge myself. Any look that I do from now on, if lipstick is required, there shall be no Amethyst in sight. And you all know what that means...I'll just find another favorite to wear! lol!!!

Be You, that's it just be yourself. Why do you have to wear neutral. I never wear neutral anything. I love my bright pink and red lipsticks and my over the top eye makeup. Whenever I wear neutral it to something boring and I feel like I'm being punished. Beside that's really pretty lipstick and if I could get my hands on it I would be wearing it too. You better be careful you know what will happen if Chewbacca sees you in that lipstick.
You certainly rocked that vibrant color!! I can see why it's your favorite =) I am known for my boring choice of neutrals & nudes, so in the scale of boring-ness, I'm like way ahead LOL jk anyway, I've been your silent reader for a while now & I decided to say hi, so HI ^_^!
Be glad you have lips which let you pull off that colour! I look like the Joker when I wear colours that bright :(
I also think that the whole neutral face look is a bit boring, the pop of colour you added to the lips makes it look so much more interesting!

Love the lip colour, though I am boring. I will wear a pink gloss but I am scared of pink lipstick. shame on me. lol
