Inglot Lipstick palette swatches and FOTD.

Back in January I visited Inglot for the first time during IMATS weekend. I bought a 5 pan lipstick palette as well as 10 pan eyeshadow palette. I finally got round to testing the palette. It was supposed to be for my bridal work because I use a lot of these colours on my current brides.

Well. I'm not so sure anymore. This palette is way more than I bargained for. Check out the pics below to see what I mean...

Freedom System no 54 (excuse the foundation swatches on my chest!)

I honestly thought this colour was going to be too light for my skin tone but turns out to be quite the beautiful colour. Very creamy. Extremely moisturising. And em...rather pigmented. Possibly for some divalicous bride out there....

Freedom System no 90I'm gutted that you cannot see the true beauty of this colour. This lipstick is something SPECIAL. If you're going to be visiting Inglot anytime soon, seriously, check this colour out. It is Divine! It has a sparkle and a sheen that I haven't seen in any other lipstick. Anywhere! This is for the woman who ain't afraid of colour and won't stick to the regular bridal rules on her day.

Freedom System no 53Yep. This is where things started to go a bit crazy. Black Barbie perhaps? It's a thoroughly hot pink. So so so pigmented! Yes it can be sheered down but dang! I didn't expect these lipsticks to pack this much punch! Hot pink lover of a bride. She's have to be on another level to wear this one full on.

Freedom System no 10

For me, this is a no go colour. It's way too opaque for my colouring but you can make it work if you wanted to and are a darker lady. For my vanilla sisters, this colour is totally for you. Don't sleep on it! Incidentally it's probably the most wearable colour of the lot for brides me thinks. Definitely a keeper.

Freedom System no 7

Now I know this is one colour that I wouldn't just wear as it is. However I think it is quite do-able with the right lipliner on my skin tone. Again my vanilla sisters will enjoy this colour. It's very pretty. Another bridal keeper.

I will be the first to confess that I totally underestimated the pigmentation in these lipsticks. They spread like melted butter. Might as well be an oil really. The coverage is unreal. Seriously. I'm going to have to invest in a whole lot more of these because I think they are fabulous. So much for the bridal palette. It really is the brightest one of the lot I carry. So I'm going to have to go back to Inglot and get more "wearable" colour. Oh the pain of shopping. *smile* If there is anything you think I should try out next time I'm in Inglot, holla! I'm always up for a good recommendation :)

deb omg! the colors are fab! i totally underestimated them too cuz i didn't even pick up any when i went to the store omg!! you and your eye game is too fierce!!! i mean cut me some slack!! so what did you think of the way the inglot shadows applied? i've been meaning to do a post, but i haven't gotten around to it (amongst other things ha!)
