Alcohol is the answer...

...to the broken Sleek Bohemian Palette that I bought and received last week. I shall not rant about how I still haven't received a replacement from Sleek after being told that I would get one sent out very quickly. Or about how I had to post a comment on their Facebook page to get an answer about returning my broken palette or how I had to email again to find out where my palette was. No no no no no! I shall not rant!

So when my palette arrived it looked like this...

Yeah sucks huh? And just for the record I do like the white case but when it arrives like this and leaves this much of a mess is hella horrible to clean up. Anyhoo I have cleaned it up as best as I could and voila!

Yes this eyeshadow will be the odd one out but I'll love her just the same. Once dried, if I can find a coin to fit exactly I'll press it and then I might be able to get with using this stunning palette.

Side note: I am currently not feeling MUFE HD Powder. Here's the reason why:-

White cast much? I used the smallest bit y'all. Smallest. Hmmm Me no likey. I'ma have to try this some more. Could be the primer I underneath because that already gave me a white cast. (More on that later) We shall see.

Oh! and Sigma make-up brushes? Some are good. And some are ridiculously useless. There is *some* truth to the hype. But not all of it is true. Review coming after Easter.

Shame that the shadow broke while on its way to you. I wonder if they didn't package it correctly. I like the white palette too, but gosh, that must've been a pain to clean up. ):

You look beautiful! Love the lips! Boo at the white cast! Have you tried Maybelline Dream Matte Powder? You should try it if you haven't. Works real well for setting makeup and it never gave me a white cast. I can't wait for your review on the Sigma brushes<3

You are definitely not the first to have that prob w/ the MUFE powder. I've heard of a lot of ppl having the white cast...esp. darker skin tones. Really surprises me since I love a lot of MUFE products and I'd never expect something from their HD Line to be so flawed.

Btw thanks for the comments...makes me feel grown up when someone wants to be "like me" when they grow up lol...I tell makeup artists I admire I want to be like them when I grow up all the time lol!
