When your sick what do you do? You Play.

Eh I lost my voice. For those that know me personally its quite funny to see. I'm loud. Louder than most. My mates found it hilarious. Zuccherro was forced to talk thrice as much as he normally does. THAT was interesting for me. The boy can talk when put under pressure....lol!

So in a bid to make myself feel better I pulled this look together. Only ever to be seen online and never in real life cause I well I looked far better than I felt or sounded. It's a light green and purple. I just picked up what I had lying around. It's kinda summery in a way.

I'm really bad at pouting. But I thought I should throw this in for the HOT comedic factor :D

Right. This voice needs to be back by Wednesday. So I should get myself to bed.

Did you know that Halloween used to be a Christian Festival? All Hallows' Eve. All Saints Day. Interesting how things have turned out huh?

Stay Blessed lovelies.

Recessionista Hauling.

Hi guys!!!

How y'all doing!?!? Well I is good! It's a pretty day today and I decided to get out bright and early and get myself into town for a little bit of retail therapy! It's a haul I didn't really plan for it was fun!

My local superdrug doesn't stock Sleek so a lovely friend of mine bought the new Safari palette for me and it arrived today in the mail! [Thanks Madu!]

*Sleek Divine Palette in Safari £4.88
*Stargazer lipstick in no 134, 30, 128, 126 £2.99 each then £1.50 from New Look
*Bourjois La Creme des Levres in Praline dolce £0.89
*Rimmel Cool Touch Creme Shadow in Champagne Frost £0.99
*L'oreal Cashmere Perfect Blush in Bronze Touch £1.69
*Cheap hair bands from Primark in multiple colours £1.00

Left to right:- 128, 30, 129,134

For me it is very strange to buy brown goldeny lipsticks. But today these particular colours caught my eye. [Before you say it, I am not mellowing out!] A few swatches for you...

Left to right, top to bottom:- 128, 30, 129,134
Bourjois Lipgloss, Rimmel creme eyeshadow, L'oreal Powder Creme blush

That first purple lipstick is like Amethyst from Sleek and I think thats a pretty close dupe for Violetta. Any one correct me if I'm wrong. The no 134 lipstick on the far end is the one i'm loving the most. It won't show on here but it is quite red and looks delicious. The other two are just as nice but hey you know my favorites.

The Bourjois lipgloss feels really nice and soft on the lips. I'm wearing it as I type and I think its gonna be a keeper. The Rimmel creme eyeshadow will work well as an all over colour or colour base. I'm disappointed that the L'oreal didn't show up on here. It is so so so pretty!!!! Hopefully they'll be a FOTD with it featuring sometime.

As for the Safari palette y'all know that I will do a full FOTD for ya!!!

Stay blessed lovelies!

Been "Hauling"....

For all my UK readers....just to clarify, Hauling is an american term for shopping. At least that's how I understood it! On the net its usually referred to make-up shopping so now you know!!Anyhoo, I went shopping today whilst waiting to see my nurse over this developing chest infection of mine and picked up a few ting tings...

I've been eyeing Define-a-lash Volume mascara for yonks. It was on sale for £5.80 at Superdrug so I had to have it. I have Define-a-lash[green tube] and it works so well for my stumpy little eye lashes. I had to have it. Will let you know how I get on with it palata.

I might be a little late on jumping on the Ecotools band wagon but I finally managed to get my hands on one of the brushes. Particulary the Bamboo Eye shading brush. I've already done a mini-test on my eye lid to see how it applies colour and so far not bad at all. I'll have to see how it performs on a full face application. Twas cheap. Cost £3.91 from Superdrug (I really should have a loyalty card from them with all the shopping I do in thur.....) and I think it could be a good brush to have if the credit it crunching you too but you still wanna look like you walked outta Prada or something!

As well as being a make-up addict I am an undercover jewellery maker. Might show you some stuff soon soon. Hence why you can see the latest issue of Bead Style Magazine framing my other goodies.WHSmith stock it for £3.25 and It's a good mag. In my opinion its for those who are starting out with jewellery making. They keep it fashionable yet simple. Who can complain?

I have never owned a cream blush in my life so when I saw Mini Bourjois Blush 08 Creme Blush for £1.93 how could I tune sut?! You can find it in Superdrug too (can you see the recurring theme here ma people?!) It's a burriful pinky rose couleur that will go fantabulously with me chocolate skin! Exciting :)

Swatches pour vous>
Top: Gosh Cool Lip Jam
Bottom: Bourjois Blush Creme
I apologise that it aint the greatest pic out there put its pretty close to RL.

If you know me and this closet-ish make-up addition of mine, you will know that I'm loving a rather serious love/hate affair with GOSH COSMETICS. Some of their stuff is sheer brilliance. Other stuff total doo doo. Just depends on what you get. Personally I love their On Stage Cool Lip Jam. Today I got it in no 101 for £6.85. Now, I've never owned a Mac dazzle glass lipgloss but something in me tells me from the swatches I see online that this gloss could a real good duplicate for Dazzleglass that'll be easy on the powket! Credit is crunching. We must crunch bek! Holla if I'm totally wrong about it!

I happened to be passing Sally's Beauty store [as you do of course!] on my way to Superdrug [where else!] when I decided to pop and see what was new in there. I came across a little someting called Eyelash Thickener by Claudia Stevens. I have very short eyelashes and if I could have a little more length it might save me buying falsies when I want serious drama. It cost £4.89 and I'll let you guys know how I get on with it. I look forward to fantabuliously long lucious mnandilicious lashes! No pressure.....

My lungs are starting to itch. Need my meditication.

Later bells!!
