Make up Forever Aqua Creams

Blog sales can be evil sometimes. You click on it just to see and before you know it you've bought a whole bunch of stuff! Well that's my excuse anyway! So I picked up some Make-up Forever Aqua Creams from Goss's blog sale the other week. They are a fairly new product and I thought it would be good to give them a try.

If you buy them from Guru Emporium or P.A.M.'s they retail for about £16.95 for 6grams of product. A little bit on the expensive side but you honestly don't need much by the looks of things. The product is very creamy (hence the name) and it comes in a variety of colours.I got three: 14/11/19

I had to get the purple (which looks blue in the pic) because purple is my favorite colour. The other two colours of Gold and brown are fabulous too. I'm trying to hone in on my neutral side.

The colours are vibrant and the colours do set. However if you run your finger over them they do shift a bit. I'm thinking they will make great bases and possibly an alternative to MAC paint pots. I'm going to try them out over the next couple of weeks and see how they work out.

Make up Forever Gold Icone Spring 2010 Collection

I stumbled upon this promo picture yesterday and just about died.  Ok I didn't really die but I gasped really loud! It is beyond words. Like for real, Make up Forever is on another level. Mac ain't got nothing on this....

Normally I'm not bothered with promo pictures but this simply blew my socks off! The model is amazing. The hair. The wardrobe. Everything.is.on.point. One day I will be consistently producing work like this. By the Grace of God. I know it's heavily air brushed but still...I absolutely love it.

And then they did this one as well...

Another strong look that is just a whole lotta awesomeness!

So this collection comprises of Gold Glitter powders made out of 100% pure mineral pigments. Go on with your bad selves MUFE! They've released 4 in #01 Sunflower, #02 Maize, #03 Honey and #04 Olive.

Can you imagine these on brown skin?! I am on a hunt now. They've been available in the Make up Forever Boutiques since the 28th of February. I see a custom purchase in the future. They've also released some eye kohls which look totally fabulous. The colours are Metal Gold #07 and Black with Metal Highlights #6.

And finally the other product to be released with this collection is the Crystal Gold Diamond Glitter Powder #16 which sounds stunning...

Make up Forever are at the top of their game. Hot diggety dang! This collection is hot hot hot! I can only imagine the things I could do with it. MUFE we are not worthy!!!

Make-up Forever 5 Lipsticks Palette Review

Make-up Forever is a worldwide brand that is renowned for its excellent products and amazing range. Personally for me, I have not come across anything from MUFE that I have not liked. I'm sure that says a lot. Today's review is on the Make-up Forever 5 Lipsticks Palette.  

I've had this palette for a long time. I bought it off eBay brand new and it was a total bargain. I suspect the seller didn't realise it's worth at the time. It's since become a God-send in my kit.

This is the No 19 palette (Pink Orchid Harmony) consists of 5 beautiful colours. This is the old style palette though as MUFE has since revamped these awesome palettes to a simple open and shut case with a brush included. My palette looks like this...

The 5 colours that come in this palette are No 83, 86 88 22 and 92 and each lipstick contains 2g of product. (1g less than a Mac lipstick if you'd like a comparison. So it's still a fair amount of product)

 And of course because we need to see some swatches, here you go...

I have found this palette to be pretty versatile. The formula is very smooth and they are nicely pigmented. Some colours are more pigmented than others but that is to be expected and you can make them all work. The first colour above, for example, number 83 actually has a duo chrome base to it. On a paler bride with a slick of lipgloss it would look stunning. Or you could use it to add a duo blend to darker colour and create something rather special.

These lipsticks mix well and you can create your own personalized combos if you wish. Their lasting power is pretty darn good and they truly are some of the best lipsticks I've used.

If you're a make-up artist wanting a a good range of lipsticks to choose from, Make up Forever currently does 13 different palettes so you have over 65 colours to choose from! These palettes are also very light and easy to carry in your kit when you go from job to job.

As an individual, can you ever have enough lipsticks? I mean really?! Well you get my jist. One palette could do you right for a very long time ladies so I say check them out if you can!

Now I do realise that these are not readily available at Sephora.com or even on the British High street. I do suspect that the two companies in the UK that stock MUFE, PAMS and Guru Emporium would be able to get these in for you if you request them. USA girls, the MUFE boutique should certainly be able to help you out.

This palette will cost you about 33 Euros which is approx US$45 or £30. Not bad for 5 lipsticks :) Hope that helps!
